Dear Colleagues:

As President Trauth indicated in her recent letter to the campus community, we are embarking on a review of the SWT mission statement as part of the new strategic planning process. We invite all academic and administrative units to be a part of this review through following the process outlined in the attached document. Participation is not mandatory. However, the feedback we receive will be an important initial step in revising our mission statement to reflect a meaningful picture of SWT priorities and direction.

Demanding workloads provide little time for us to contemplate our future. Perhaps this review will provide a valuable, yet efficient way for us to have this important conversation.
