When the University introduced its new strategic plan in 2004, the planning process was modified to include a formal review of the plan to be conducted every two years to evaluate our current initiatives and incorporate new ones that support our mission as a diverse, public, student-centered, doctoral granting institution. Because of our "bottom-up" approach to planning, college and division plans are first reviewed and modified. Beginning in 2007 and continuing every two years after that, the academic deans, Provost, administrative vice presidents, and Athletic Director review their strategic plans to determine changes and highlight priorities within their divisions and colleges. These highlights are presented to the university community through an open forum series. Below are summaries of the presentations for the new 2012-2017 planning cycle.
