As we develop a new planning process, it is always useful to look back at our previous university strategic plans and reflect on the great strides we have made toward accomplishing important initiatives. This reflection allows us to envision our future and the steps we must take to get there. Below are the four University Plans Texas State has adopted since we began strategic planning in 1985.

It should be noted that Strategic Plans are long-range oriented and span over multiple years. Texas State currently does its planning in 5-year cycles.
