On February 27, 2007, as part of the Texas State open forum series entitled “Beyond 2009: The Evolution of the University Plan,” academic deans held an open forum to discuss their college strategic plans and vision through 2012. Provost Perry Moore held an open forum on March 1 to discuss the Division of Academic Affairs plan. In her open invitation to the campus community, President Trauth encouraged everyone to participate in the discussions “to evaluate our current initiatives and incorporate new ones that support our mission as a diverse, public, student centered, doctoral granting institution.”
